Karine has been awarded by the US Department of the Treasury the credential of Enrolled Agent (EA)! Her services include:

• Representation Services:
Karine is licensed to practice by the US government and authorized to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for audits, collections and appeals. She has unlimited practice rights and can represent any taxpayer, for any tax matters, at any IRS office. Once you engage her services you won’t have to attend an audit or an appeal, talk to or meet with an IRS Agent.

• Nationwide Representation:
Unlike attorneys and CPAs who can only practice in their State, Karine can represent taxpayers from any State and before any IRS tax court throughout the country.

• Tax Advice:
Unlike attorneys and Certified Public Accountants (CPA), who might not choose to specialize in taxes, Karine is uniquely qualified in taxation.  Because of the tax knowledge necessary to become an EA and maintain the license, there are very few EA in the US. Karine identifies tax relief benefits for you, creates tax strategies for your business, and guides you when selecting the right classification for your business (LLC, Corp.,  etc) to minimize your tax bill.

• Tax, penalties and interest reduction:
In some cases, she can negotiate with the IRS to reduce or eliminate penalties imposed on your tax liability.

• Tax Payment options:
if you are unable to pay your taxes, she can negotiate with the IRS to suspend any collection action (“Currently Not Collectible Status”), or to set up a monthly payment plan (“Installment Agreement”), or to settle your liability for less than what you owe (“Offer In Compromise”).

•  EA-client Confidentiality:
Karine is granted by the IRS the same client confidentiality privilege that applies to privileged communications between an individual and an attorney.
